ASQIOS exists to combine rigorous Islamic finance governance with systematic quantitative method, in a form that can be challenged, reproduced, and disproven. The point is the discipline, not a verdict.
The aim is a research system that can identify systematic strategies and, just as importantly, reject the ones that do not hold up. Governance comes first, evidence is logged before it is interpreted, and every output is marked void for capital until formal validation gates are cleared.
It is explicitly pre-capital-deployment. That is not a limitation to apologise for — it is the honest stage the work is at, and the platform is designed to say so plainly.
Because a research finding and an investment decision are different things. Marking every output void for capital keeps the two from being quietly confused — and keeps the platform honest about what it has, and has not, earned the right to claim.
These are not slogans. Each one changes how the platform is built and what it is allowed to conclude.
The research-integrity infrastructure is built before any strategy work. The honesty spine is non-negotiable and deliberately small.
The contaminations of open data nearly all flatter long-only strategies, so a flattering result proves little — but a failure is real. The asymmetry is treated as a discipline, not a footnote.
When a component cannot decide, it returns an explicit error — never a quiet default that happens to look positive.
A name is only excluded on real evidence of fraud, insolvency, or going-concern risk — never on a data anomaly, an artifact, or routine activity.
The research question is which event type carries edge — never whether a data source as a whole does.
Minimum detectable effect and required sample are committed before any data is inspected. Post-hoc stopping rules are forbidden by the honesty spine.
The independent review posture is the null hypothesis itself. The hardest discipline is not running the test — it is refusing to extend a verdict that the evidence has not earned, exactly at the moment it would be convenient to do so.
We are glad to talk about how ASQIOS is built. This is not an investment channel.
